Veliko Tarnovo is situated in the central parts of North Bulgaria. It has population of around 72 000 people. It is called “The old capital of Bulgaria”, because this is the third town with such functions. From 1187 to 1393, Bulgaria, that has been played the leading role on the world politic and economic scene, has been managed from here.
Botswana is situated in the Southern Hemisphere, in the south part of the continent of Africa. It borders on SAR (in south), Namibia (west and north), Zimbabwe (east) and also it has insignificant border with Zambia (in north). The country has population of around 1 600 000 people. The population of the capital Gaborone is almost 200 000 people.
Nepal is situated in Asia, in the north-east part of the Indian subcontinent. It borders on two countries – China in north-east and India in south-west. It occupies an area of 147 181sq.km. and has population of around 28 300 000 people. The capital of the country is Kathmandu.
Egypt is situated in the north – east part of Africa. It occupies territory of 1 001 450 sq.km. It has population of around 78 887 007 people. In the west Egypt borders on Libya, in the south borders on Sudan and in the north – east borders on Israel. In the north Egypt has outlet on the Mediterranean Sea and in the east – on the Red Sea.
The European winter is various. It is very different in depending of the geographic occupation. There is one regularity – in direction north-east the winter become drier and colder. The coldest place in Europe is the most north-east part of the continent, on the territory of Russia.
