You can find it on the second smallest island of the archipelago of Canaries – La Gomera. This is the only island in this archipelago that has not volcanic origin in contrast to the other islands. As a whole, La Gomera is sparsely populated. It is home to only 22 000 people, but in return of it, the island has visited from millions of tourists. The occupation of the lake in the outskirts of the forest, make it the perfect place for the people who want just to relax and enjoy to the harmony of the nature. The best way to see the sights of the island is to take a part in some safari. The experienced guides can show you the most amazing landmarks of La Gomera. For all that, if you wish to walk around the island alone, you can do it even without guide, because the island is not too large. Nevertheless, the island is only 24km in its longest side from north-west to the south-east.
