Nights are mild and pleasant with temperatures around 15 – 17°C.

May looks like a typical summer month, but its advantage is that the weather is not yet too hot.

However, it is recommended to be careful with the sun at noon, as it can be quite strong.

In May, the sea temperature in Cyprus is already in the range between 20 and 22°C, so bathing and swimming are much more pleasant compared to April.

The beaches are crowded with sunbathers, and the coastal cities and their countless hotels and restaurants are full of tourists.

After the relatively quiet start in April, in May the active tourist season is already in full swing.

In May, even the high-lying parts of the Troodos Mountains enjoy warm and pleasant weather.

The daytime temperature reaches around 20°C, and around 10 – 12°C at night.

The number of rainy days decreases even in the mountains and in places located over 1,000 meters above sea level, they are only about 3 or 4.
