10 March 2026 – Travelers planning holidays in Cyprus and Turkey this summer have received reassurance from one of Europe’s largest low-cost airlines.

Ryanair has indicated that its scheduled flights to the popular Mediterranean destinations are expected to continue operating normally during the peak travel months of May, June and July.

Airline Reassures Passengers Despite Regional Tensions

Concerns among tourists have increased in recent weeks due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the possibility of travel disruptions in nearby regions.

However, Ryanair has sought to calm those fears, stating that passengers with bookings for early summer should not expect major disruptions to their travel plans.

The airline’s position comes as many travelers monitor the situation closely and question whether flights to destinations close to the Middle East could be cancelled or rerouted.

Flights to Cyprus Still Operating

Recent travel reports indicate that Ryanair services to Cyprus are continuing to operate. Despite isolated cancellations by some other airlines, flights from Ryanair and certain other carriers are still running as scheduled.

Authorities and airport operators have also confirmed that the main international airports on the island remain open and functioning, even though some flights linked to regional routes have been cancelled during periods of heightened tension.

Advice for Travelers

Travel experts recommend that passengers stay informed and monitor official updates from airlines and government travel advisories.

While flights are currently scheduled to operate normally, sudden changes in regional security conditions can sometimes affect air routes or airport operations.

Passengers can check the status of their flights directly through Ryanair’s official travel updates page:

Summer Travel Demand Remains Strong

Despite geopolitical uncertainties, Cyprus and Turkey remain among the most popular summer destinations for European tourists.

Both countries attract millions of visitors each year thanks to their gorgeous beaches, historic landmarks, welcoming cultures and warm climate.

With airlines like Ryanair confirming that flights are expected to continue during the early summer season, tourism operators are hopeful that holiday demand will remain strong.
